What’s The Meaning Of The New Age And What Is It All About

Wikipedia defines the New Age as a Western Spiritual movement that developed in the second half the 20th Century. Its central precepts have been represented as drawing on both Eastern and Western Spiritual and transcendental practices, infusing them with self help and inspiring psychology, conscious research and Quantum Psychics.

The New Age intends to create a spirituality without borders. It holds to a view that Body, Mind and Spirit are interconnected. It believes in both mainstream Science and Science that has not been proven yet. New Age includes elements and rituals of older spiritual and spiritual traditions. ,The New Age also encloses Science, Astrology, Astronomy.Psychology and Physics.

New Age has drawn on the practices, inspirations and philosophies from the majority of the Worlds major religions without being restricted by them. There’s a belief that all things are possible and that what we call science vary by what we believe that we know. The more we learn, the more we realize, we know nothing or at a minimum little.

Some people are not happy with the term New Age, because they think it labels them as different from normal folks. In Sedona, They’re called WooWoo’s. These folk sometimes rename these beliefs as New Thought , Mysticism, Age of Aquarius to name just a few. Sedona AZ has a massive New Age community that follow the majority of this definition, but many know the New Age to be something far more than all of that and not restricted to definition. It’s by no means a religion or perhaps a belief. It is a feeling and an inbred knowingness that we create our own reality.

You can try and label somebody that follows the New Age philosophy as peculiar or different and it is true they may not think with mainstream perspectives. From a different perspective, they may be awfully open minded to probabilities and understand that we can’t know absolutely everything. There are various levels, philosophies, and practices within the New Age culture. Some could be a little intense but generally it’s a practice of opening your intellect to what is possible. What you believe to be true is right for you and so it is.
