The bottom line is the fact that the picture is good, to my eye the blacks seem quite great, audio is the greatest of any tv I’ve attempted, the amount is awesome, the magnificent uniformity and viewing angles of plasma, improved motion compared with last yr (apparently), etc…
I say the audio is amazing, but retain in thoughts I have only been employing television speakers for a long time and years, so I’m not comparing with surround systems. As horrible as most television speakers sound, though, these sound greater to me. In the course of ordinary tv shows, the news, and so on… I was pondering it sounds as well “off in the distance”. But when I watched Sucker Punch and had the volume a little louder, I was astonished with the bass and just all round substance of audio. The only negatives I can come up with, that are rather small, are:

I have had a lot of the two plasma and eld sets bothering my head or eyes. This can be not much diverse. It feels like anything tightened all over my head when I observe it. Perhaps flicker, perhaps reflections, maybe who knows what else. I’m going to be depressed if I’ve to return this kind of a great Panasonic VIERA TC-P50ST50 television simply because I have attempted most anything else and nothing with good image excellent is simple on my head and eyes for some explanation.
The GT50 sets come out this month and are most likely to get technically better, but not well worth the $700 or so more in expense, I personally feel. On paper, anyway. The only actual distinctions are THX licensed mods (which still will not be correct sufficient considering the fact that everyone has distinct viewing environments), an extra hdmi port, and supposedly twice as lots of colour gradations or w/e it truly is named. So for $700 you happen to be basically obtaining an extra port and barely noticable image alterations is my assumption. COuld usually be that it ends up better however. 🙂
Oh i forgot to add this nevertheless has the buzzing like the ST30 as far as my set goes. About 5 feet away it was loud enough to hear while viewing a film. I just assume the picture is worth all of this. I attempted the Sony HX929 and in many cases a second 929 set also. Both had quite slight flashlighting, the blooming is definitely horrible, as will be the uniformity and viewing angles. I think loads of individuals that evaluation that set just need to truly feel it is worth the dollars when theyr ate it so hugely. I do feel it is Significantly much better at eliminating flashlighting and bleedthrough than edge lit sets, nonetheless it charges double their amount likewise.
I did not test this tv in 3D still. I was likely to get the 2012 bluetooth Panasonic VIERA TC-P50ST50 3d glasses, but I dont want to really need to spend to ship them back if I cant retain this tv resulting from my head issues.

Also the buzzing is louder than I’d like and as negative since the 2011 ST sets.
Also I forgot to mention the anti-reflective layer will get rid of just about all reflections. It still seems nothing like matte, but it is significantly much better than most other glass screen tvs.
