Some people believe that you can predict who will win the world cup semi-finals by just looking at what color the jerseys are for the team that day. Certain Chinese people believed this was based on five elements also known as five arts.
The theory goes that there are interactions in the world that comprise of 5 different energies. These would be earth, fire, wood, water and metal. These all have an interlinking relationship.
They have an interweaving relationship. Metal will be represented by the color white. Fire would be represented by red. Water will drain it so it will be represented by blue or black. Earth would be the nurturing color so it is symbolized by yellow or brown. Wood would be represented by green. Metal would be controlling and is white. Fire would drain wood but water would nurtures wood.
Green represents wood. Metal controls it and the color of metal is white. Wood is drained by fire, which is red and water nurtures wood. The color of water is black or blue. Black or blue represents water and the earth controls it, the color being brown or yellow. Wood drains water and it is green. Metal, which is white, will be the nurturing element.
Fire controls earth so this means that red is controlling over brown or yellow. Wood is controlling over white so therefore wood controls metal. When looking at soccer teams in this light it gives certain information to one. This could mean that blue would defeat red. The jersey that has the draining effect on the other color should always win. Therefore, it is safe to say that the colors of the jerseys carry some meaning in this context.
The color that drains the other color means that the energy field surrounds each player. The team that has the draining color will always be more powerful than the other team. Other metaphysics also come into play and this is known as Qi-Men-Dun-Jia. Using this could make a team around ten to fifteen percent more powerful than the other team. This process adds the influence of directional energies to the mix.
There were some predictions that were based on this. For example, Korea versus Uruguay, so it was white versus blue and white is metal and blue is water. So the predictions would then be Uruguay would win. However, Ghana versus America would be red and white so the fire would control the metal and that means that would win over America. England versus Germany would be red and white and the theory would be that white would be controlled by red so this means that England would win. However, the results have turned out completely different. Be cautious when you are going to use the five arts in order to predict a sports outcome.
